5th gen 2001 Chevrolet Corvette 6spd manual 475 HP For Sale.

Here is a pristine and scary-fast 2001 Corvette with only 44k miles on it! Get the timeless styling of the C5 with the performance of a C6/C7 as a result of the 5.7L LS1 with a Procharger and 6speed manual transmission. This car is 50-state legal and just passed the California emissions test. It dyno’d at 475HP and 550 foot-pounds of torque! Clean Carfax, no collisions, always garaged.

“Yeah, but you’re asking $25k?!” Here is my reasoning on pricing the car. If you’re not familiar with the ProCharger system, it is a centrifugal blower that uses two intercoolers mounted inside the front fender wells. (You can see the radiators through the vents, just below the turn signals, in the first pic.) The kit price starts at $6,898. Then you add about ten-hours labor to install it. (My local performance shop charges $9,000 parts and labor.) High Kelly Blue Book on a stock 2001 Corvette is just under $20,000. So, if you bought a stock C5 as nice as this one, and added the ProCharger, you’d be into the car $29,000. I would rather buy a car that has all the bugs sorted out, than go through the installation process. (And that doesn’t factor in the $2,000 stereo that sounds great!) So my asking price is a great deal! If you disagree, make me an offer that you think is reasonable.

Cosmetic

• The original paint is beautiful, and near-perfect. It is protected by a ceramic coating applied last December. There are no parking lot dings. There are a couple of rock chips, but you have to look very hard to find them. There are a couple of small scratches, which are also hard to find.

• There is no curb rash on the wheels

• The interior is excellent, with no scratches, scuffs, rips, or tears

• Engine compartment and undercarriage very clean

• Side parking protection moldings are included, but not on the car

Mechanical

• The engine runs perfectly, very strong and responsive. The transmission is smooth and solid. The clutch is just as it should be. The Magnaflow axle-back exhaust sounds great. From inside the car, you can hear the whistle of the supercharger when you’re idling, and when you accelerate, but it’s not obnoxious at all driving down the road; it sounds very much like a stock C5. Everything works and there are no known issues.

2022:

• New plugs and wires
• New 2-speed electric fan and controller
• New battery
• All chassis ground connections removed and cleaned
• Oil change and maintenance is up to date

2021:

• Radiator flush, new fluid
• Brake lines flushed, new fluid
• Power steering flush, new fluid
• Transmission oil changed
• Differential gear lube changed, new seals
• New serpentine belt and idler pulley
• ProCharger bearings checked and oil changed
• Lower ProCharger tubing replaced and positioned about 2″ higher, eliminating any scraping on the road
• New rear sway bar links

Sound System

• Sony XAV-AX150 touch-screen head unit with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto
• Focal speakers
• Triton 4-channel amp, 120A x 4
• Pioneer removable sub
• Original stereo and bezel is included
