Here is a beautiful 1964 Corvette GRAND SPORT Tribute Roadster.

After all, it’s a lightweight roadster, with a cool classic appearance, and thundering power.
This 1964 GRAND SPORT Roadster has been completely rebuilt from the bare Frame up. This
GRAND SPORT was Custom Built to simulate the famous Corvette GRAND SPORT race cars from 1963-64. This is not a Kit Car.

This is an actual 1964 Corvette with VIN Tag, to resemble the George Wintersteen GRAND SPORT #002.
A custom Tubular frame, like the original Grand Sport, was built, by L&J Chassis, for the ’64 Corvette middle Tub, to accommodate the Corvette C4 Suspension, Brakes, Rack & Pinion Steering, and Differential.
The C4 differential is a Dana 36 Posi, with 3.54 Gears
The Frame is a perfect Fit for the Body & Chassis
The Body is from Jeff Leach’s MID AMERICA INDUSTRIES, with the Daytona Hood & Louvres, exposed headlights with lexan covers, on the front clip, with a half windscreen, and on the rear clip a Trunk, Headrest and Rollbar. There is an aluminum GS Grill in place also. There are body Louvres to catch air to Cool the Brakes , in place, Front & Back.

The exterior of this stunning car is finished in a basecoat, clear coat White, with Blue Strip & Red piping, resembling George Wintersteen’s original GRAND SPORT #002’ The Decals were added for a complimentary Race Livery.
The Dash has an Instrument cluster from a 1966 Corvette, rebuilt for a 200 MPH Speedo, and a 6500 RPM Tach. The remaining gauges were also rebuilt. There also is a functional Heater.

The Interior is finished in a Bright Blue, with Seats from a 1980 corvette (they feel just right ) The Seat Belt Harness’ are RED R.J.S. with shoulder harness’ as well. The Emergency Brake handle is in the middle, between the seats. The Door Panels area custom panels in bright blue as well. The Steering Wheel is a Zora Arkus-Duntov wheel from France.

The Wiring Harness (Motor, Dash, Rear) in this GRAND SPORT are for a ’65-’67 Corvette.
The Wheels are 17” x 8” Aluminum from Legend Series Vintage Wheels, Grey Centres with Polished Rims, on Nexan Tires – 245x45ZR17, in excellent condition.
The Side-pipes are Stainless Steel 2.5”, covered by C2 Corvette Covers, and have a nice throaty sound .
In the engine bay, there is a 355 ci 400HP, 4 bolt main LT1 motor, built by The Balancing Act, 600 CFM Holley Double Pump Carb, Aluminum LT1 Intake, with a Pertronix Ignition & Distributor (Tach Drive), with Stainless Steel Block Hugger Headers , connected to the 2.5” Sidepipes.
The Griffin Alum Rad with 16” Electric Fan cools the engine nicely.
The Power Corvette C4 Rack & Pinion Steering makes the 2450 lb GRAND SPORT handle beautifully.
The Power Brake system is a 1967 Dual Master w Power Booster, with all Brake & Fuel Lines in Stainless Steel.
The Corvette C4 Suspension has VBP Lea Springs, front & back, with QA1 adjustable Shocks, along with C4 Stabilizer Bars.

The Fuel Cell is an aluminum 16 Gallon Tank, located at the rear.
The 400 HP Engine is attached to a New Tremec TKX 5 Speed Transmission with a 0.62 5th Gear and a Differential with 3.54 Posi Gears … A lot of get-up-and-go, and easy Cruising

This GRAND SPORT has Never been Tracked or Raced …. Street Cruising only
