1st gen triple black 1962 Chevrolet Corvette For Sale.

This car is beautiful triple black. This is a very well-maintained original car with many recent updates. There were two owners before me. The first owner about 15 years, second owner about 40 years. The second owner loved working on the car and kept the car in tip-top condition. This car was always garaged and back in the day won many “best in show” trophies for the second owner at local car shows. The stainless has been buffed and is beautiful. The chrome was re-chromed also and is excellent. The car was repainted several years go and subsequently has a few small chips and imperfections. However, the paint has been wet sanded and buffed and due to the beautiful chrome and stainless the car still has a gorgeous overall appearance. The soft top and the rear window are in very good condition. The hardtop was repainted recently and is in excellent condition. Seats and overall interior are in good condition. The car has the original wonderbar radio and also clock. Approximately 70% of weather stripping has been replaced.

Has a 327 engine with a mild cam and a 4 speed manual transmission. Runs great and sounds awesome. Also has a rebuilt Holly 650 4 barrel carb, new plugs and plug wiring. All new brake pads, wheel cylinders, clips, springs, etc. New brake lines including stainless steel hard lines and flexible connector lines. Also has a new OEM style all aluminum high efficiency radiator. There is a new wiring harness for the taillights and license plate light. This car is a beautiful driver and intended to be sheer fun for car shows and driving trips. This car is priced as a #3 car according to the Hagerty pricing guide. According to Hagerty the average value for this car is $65,700 + hardtop option $3500, plus 10% ($6570) for 4 speed manual option. Total Hagerty estimate is $75,770. This is a higher miles car (119K miles) so I am asking $65,000. These cars are getting rare and the Hagerty pricing guide shows the prices are rising very fast. Most of the restoration type work was completed recently. In short there’s many recent OEM style improvements made to this car. This is a great car but age and health issues force me to let it go. This car looks and sounds fantastic going down the road. This car is a real head-turner and gets a thumbs up everywhere I take it.
